Help make things better.
Techno Optimists is open source and open to your help.
Why this exists
The idea is simple: connect people who notice something that could be better with people who can help. There is no business model in place. Right now, the focus is helping people find each other and work on useful things together.
I'm Roy, and I'd love help building this community and improving the site. Research, design, writing, translation, testing and code all count.
Share something worth exploring
Share a thread: a Problem, Idea, Experiment or Build. You do not need a solution. A clear account of what is happening, who it affects and what you have noticed is a useful contribution on its own.
Bring what you know
Browse the threads and join one that interests you. Ask a useful question, add research, suggest an idea, offer to test something or share what you tried. Sign in to contribute. You do not need to be an expert.
Improve the site
Report a bug or suggest an improvement on GitHub. Describe what happened or what you would like to make better. Please keep private information out of public issues.
Want to work on the code? Read the contribution guide, run it locally and send a pull request. The code is MIT-licensed. Proposed changes are reviewed before going live; contributing does not require access to the live database.
For a security vulnerability, use private security reporting.
